Vietnamese Teachers’ Day at WASS brings not only lovely bouquets or lovely handmade greeting cards, but also creative 3D technology gifts.
Children don’t like just studying something, they like to apply their knowledge into practice and see the result. Robotics helps to acquire knowledge about physics. It is not memorizing boring formulas but the practical application of physics laws. Understanding, how robots work, can help children study scientific theories, theorems, and axioms.
Making robots, children learn basic engineering and design, which improves children’s creative thinking and decision-making skills. A child learns what steps he should take to make the right decision, avoiding common traps and mistakes. Finding the solution also requires persistence and helps children become more attentive.
By applying the knowledge in the classroom under the guidance of subject teachers, WASSers have created meaningful gifts for their teachers on November 20. Applying modern 3D printing and design technology, they created their own designs on computers and used 3D printers to complete the details. The excitement on their faces when making products is the most wonderful gift for all teachers at WASS.
Our students explore this world and develop their skills by studying and practicing. The school strives to ensure that WASSers enjoy the learning process, understand the purpose of learning and are ready for new challenges every day. We want them to understand that as long as they have imagination and creativity, nothing is impossible!
