If you visit WASS on the last day of April, you will be surprised with the bustling atmosphere of the second semester end of exams. Let’s read share the experience from our teachers and learn how the final exam preparation works and their feelings.
The final score is not everything, but it does partly reflect the efforts of students over the semester.
The HK II exam is close by and our WASSers are in the process of commencing final preparations for these important exams. Although the Bilingual and International programs are different, all student are still working hard to improve their understanding and knowledge of the content and concepts covered during the past academic year.
As a WASS teacher, my colleagues and I need to prepare carefully for each review period so that they can easily understand the lesson and grasp the knowledge. To help with recalling the lessons, I often incorporate interesting games and stories into the lesson. During the times when teachers and students enjoy and are comfortable in each other’s company, the pressure of the exam week seems to disappear. This provides a safe learning environment allowing knowledge and understanding to occur. I also encourage students to use charts, set outlines and images to make the lesson more vivid and easier to remember.
The final exam week of the second semester is fast approaching. I hope that our WASSers will maintain good health and stay relaxed to ensure they have a successful exam.

Our WASSers are entering the final exam review dates for the HKII exams. For many people, exams and tests are always stressful, but here at WASS, students are very enthusiastic and excited about upcoming exams.
Education in WASS emphasises “Students are the core”. The lessons of the school not only focus on knowledge, but also build soft skills for children, such as communication skills. So, the exams for Primary students test these soft skills and revise all knowledge gained from the past school year. In addition, our WASS teachers are always trying to find ways to make lessons more interesting and engaging, designed specifically for us the students. So, the revision hours for the exams during class always have an engaging and lively atmosphere that supports our learning.
The exam season is near, I hope all the students of WASS will study hard and feel confident with their knowledge and achieved the scores that they deserve.
