Summer is the season that students have been waiting for for a whole year. Because this is the only time that students can enjoy wonderful holidays without worrying about school work. However, as time goes by, summer becames a students’s “third semester”, with many days of tutorial classes being offered at school, just like their normal semesters.

The worry of long holidays

Summers of today aren’t as much fun and excitment with games and out door activities as in the past. Instead of enjoying a relaxing summer break after nine months of studying hard, now they have just normal days of going to school and returning home. The reason for this is because parents worry that their children will forget what they learn in school if they don’t review their knowledge during the summer time break.

Although it is easy to understand parents worries,“taking away” the precious leisure time of their children by forcing them to attend numerous summer courses is not an effective way to help a child’s development. Because summer is the time when students can relax.

Now there is a summer course that solves this dilema

So through the WASS summer course students can now play hard with lots of educational  extracurricular activities. Summer school also includes various field trips which give students  experience of real life – a way of acquiring knowledge that is not in books and a way to expand their natural curiosity, and to stimulate them to research and discover the many interesting things in the world around them.
