Obedience is not only obeying parents or grandparents but compliance with rules and laws in group, school, class, or event in society. And this is the main theme throughout last September, the pupils of Western Australia Primary and High School has been tought through theory lessons as well as practical ones in order to help students master their knowledge and skills, to apply to make their life easier. Then how to identify obedience and how important it is?

Obedience identification?

Normally Obedience means as the way we always think is to obey our parents and grandparents or adults. However, as explained by the Character First curriculum, obedience itself owns a deeper meaning. Obedience with its limits not to family but compliance with social norms as well as the laws. And even you yourself have to know how to between good and bad.  Do not follow blindly, but to know your decision, whether or not to listen to while being persuaded to do something that is against moral standards or unlawful. Or at least have people to stop you.

Reward and Punishment go together in educating children of obedience
Furthermore, obedience is the observance of all the punishments and rewards. To help the process of working in groups, classrooms, complies with the rules, even respect their neighbours.

To accompany children in their growing period

Human personality is formed and developed over time and by the surrounding environment. Through Character Education First curriculum, many lessons which are tought in English with a harmonious combination among theory, discussion and practices in order to make sure children accurately acknowledgement and apply it properly in their life.
Beside that, to help parents understand psychological and physical development of children od their age so that parents would have to work closely with the School in educating children in obedience. WAPS has organised various seminars discussingvarious topics which are presented by a psychologist with the participation of parents and children.

Each lesson children learned and absorbed today is as equipment tomorrow for life. One by one, WAPS wishes children grow up, be mature and become a good child, a talented kid in their family and society.
