There is a combination between tradition and modern customs at WASS; WASSers are always up to date with the most modern learning techniques and strategies. The students also create and promote their own technological abilities by creating online New Year cards and 3D Printing models together.
As Vietnam becomes increasingly more developed, some ethnic customs are gradually fading away over time. Therefore, with the desire to help WASSers learn more about the values of the traditional Lunar New Year, WASS has integrated a series of cultural activities into the school curriculum this month. Together, the students have made the school grounds and classes bustle with joy and celebration at the Western Australian International School System.
Finally, WASSers also experience a traditional Lunar New Year’s atmosphere at the school through practical activities to allow the students to understand, love and embrace the beauty of the nation’s culture such as decorating peach trees, apricot trees, making flowers, painting, card-making and creating small gifts for their dear ones.
