On the night of November 13th, a bloody terrorist attack happened in Paris – France that shocked the whole world. The latest estimation, at least 128 people are dead and 200 wounded. Paris is in a state of alarm and cultural life is “frozen”. This pain is pervasive not only for those who lost relatives but Parisians also grieve for the great loss of life.
A month after Peace Day event at WAPS, WAPSers once again deeply felt and affirm the values of Peace. In the weekly meeting (on November 16th), the WAPS community had one minute silence to remember the victims of the terrorist attacks, their relatives and all people in Paris to share the suffering and great losses. In 60 seconds, everyone thought about the greatness of the word “Peace”, in order to appreciate the more peaceful moments we have.
On this day, WAPSers, together with the international community, sent heartfelt messages to Paris with the theme “PRAY FOR PARIS” with the desire to give support to Paris. These small things may help them become more resilience than ever so that they can overcome these difficulties. Each message is also a piece of the big picture to the World about the importance of friendships and Peace.
Accompany and support to Paris!
