One of the activities in a series to welcome Vietnam Teacher’s Day, “Free hugs” gives Primary School students a chance to give their teachers to show their gratitude in the “month of gratitude“.
Wishing to encourage emotions and students’ gratitude to teachers who have taught, communicated and helped them on the path of education. WAPs understands each student’s love and appreciation for their teachers in different ways. Therefore, at WAPS we try to encourage the children to express their emotions as one of the methods and ways to have a positive impact in Character education.
Last week, between 16 – 18th of November, the Primary School students at WAPS had chance to give beloved hugs instead of flowers and saying thanks. Their timidness and shyness disappeared when they received encouragement and support from their classmates and teachers. Happiness and smiles appear on not only students but also teachers’ faces.
WAPs hopes this meaningful activity, which will help them understand the importance of boldly expressing affection and gratitude. On Teacher’s day, WAPs would like to wish all the teachers who work at WAPs as well as all teachers in every part of the country, continued health and enthusiasm to continue the journey to accompany children along the road of education.
