Dear WASS Community,
Welcome to the February E-newsletter of the Western Australian International School System. In the past month, the Ministry of Education in Ho Chi Minh City has temporarily suspended students from attending school. As a result, the Western Australian International School System has responded promptly to this situation by implementing changes to both manners in learning and teaching, as well as the school operation.
Through the implementation of Google Classroom, we have created virtual classroom space for our students. This allows the students to continue to learn and engage with their teachers whilst being at home. We encourage all students to treat this period seriously as if you were at school.
In the meantime, teachers at WASS are working hard on learning plans and engaging lessons to connect all the students. Teachers received training on how to use, create and operate classes on the digital platform Google Classroom. The students are encouraged to participate in the lesson to gain the most efficiency of learning content.
Online learning is an important experience for WASS students to improve their discipline, self-learning, critical thinking, and creativity. It is expected to see students’ great efforts in online studying. We also would like to send thanks to parents for your support in this period.
To our dear WASS students, let’s study and help each other in this critical time. Together, we can create a studious culture and a qualified, professional learning environment.
