Recently, WASSers at the Western Australian International School System held a number of exciting activities to celebrate International Women’s Day 2017 and made it an occasion to give gifts to their mothers, grandmothers and their teachers.
During International Women’s Day 2017, WASSers happily took lots of photos with their mums and teachers at the Photo Corner set up in the school. Fresh flowers and fond wishes from the students were precious gifts given to those special women who daily have been raising and teaching them.
In particular, the WASS Kindergarten students painted handmade cards and gave them to their mothers. While the two-year-old Penguin class printed their tiny fingers to make flowers, the other classes also made cards. Every single card was a love message that our little WASSers wanted to say to their mother.
Through these activities, our WASSers developed a better understanding of International Women’s Day and were able to express their feelings towards the most important women in their lives. Every WASSer promised to continue to strive harder to bring greater happiness to their mothers.
Let’s look at some of the colourful images and the fun atmosphere of WASSers on the March 8, 2017.
