Vietnamese Teacher’s Day on November 20th – a special day for all who have been carrying the role of teachers. Former US President, Barack Obama once said: “A teacher is the one who gives students everything they have – knowledge, creativity, concentration, and love.” Therefore, Vietnamese teacher’s day is the occasion to honor and recognize from the whole society for the vocation, the sacrifices and great contributions of the teachers to life. They are the unsung heroes that we can say their sacrifice and unconditional love to their students are just like parents to their child.
As the days went by, the teachers silently take care and teach the students with enthusiasm and dedication without any repay. Teachers are the ones who show the students a brighter future, helping them to become good citizens.
Another Vietnamese Teacher’s Day took place at WASS with so many special and unforgettable emotions. The WASSers sent their most sincere feelings to the teachers with their own talent, enthusiasm, and creativity through a series of meaningful activities at the school, along with cute handmade gifts, even though they are small but contain invaluable meaning. Those are letters that WASSers handwritten to teachers are creative and unexpected cards from the skillful hands of the “little artists”. WASSERS also gave fresh, fragrant, sparkling flowers to show that they respect their teachers to express their gratitude for their hard work and nurturing. Our students also presented joyful and meaningful musical performances on this special holiday.
The exciting activities were held during the welcoming ceremony on November 20, 2019, to celebrate the traditional teachers’ day and also to express the respect for the teachers’ devotion at the Western Australian International School System. Each series of activities created a lively atmosphere in the whole school.
Once again, congratulations and best wishes to all teachers, the Board of Directors and parents of WASS. We wish all teachers health to keep their enthusiasm and passion to be leaders and inspire generations of WASS students to fulfill their dreams.
