Understanding, sympathizing and sharing to connect hearts is the key rule at WASS during the process of formation, construction and development. Together with the efforts to cultivate compassion at WASS and the support of parents, the WASS community has brought peaceful, warm Christmas gifts, relieving pain for cancer patients at the Oncology Department, Children Hospital 2.
The “A Christmas Warmup” project is a charity program within the framework of community activities “Hearts Connection” which aims to connect hearts to bring them a peaceful warm Christmas season. This is also an opportunity for WASSers to better understand the sharing, love and the value of “empathy” that WASS wants to convey.
Through the charity fundraising activities, WASS has collected a total value of up to VND 150,000,000 and successfully organized a volunteer trip to visit and encourage patients of the Oncology Department, Nhi Dong 2 Hospital to overcome illness soon, and joyfully celebrate a merry Christmas season. Hopefully, the activities of the WASS community for cancer patients will bring joy and trust to children, help them recover soon, get home and live a normal life like their peers.
