At WASS, there is a Fair where the sellers and buyers all have one objective, which is to “join hands for the difficult circumstances”. Where their beating hearts synchronize in perfect harmony. A place where people can unite and are willing to share and sympathize with each other. When we give away love, we will receive it back at the same time.
Monthly Fair is not just an extracurricular activity at the school but also an event in the Spirit Day series of activities to educate awareness, nourish the soul and guide the WASS community about the beautiful human values, about truth, virtue and goodness, about the proverb, ” A good leaf covers torn leaves “, and the need to spread and share love.
In this school year, the Village Fair Volunteer Project will be an annual activity throughout the school year with the theme Connecting Hearts. The fundraising activity will fulfill the wishes of many dreams and many unfortunate lives. Giving wings to many poor children in remote areas, the unlucky children. Specifically, all profits from the products sold at the Fair and donations raised will be for the Loving Christmas project, which provides gifts and medical treatment for cancer patients at Ho Chi Minh City Oncology Hospital. The fair will also support other projects, including the construction of rural roads, schools and solar power installation for Ban Giang La Phan, Ban Mu commune, Tram Tau district, Yen Bai Province.
Operating on the first Friday of every month, the first Fair made a special impression in the hearts of the WASS community by stirring so many indescribable emotions for these humanistic activities. None of this would be possible without the enthusiastic contributions and positive support from parents and WASSers. Hopefully the WASS community will join hands and participate in more activities and bring more warmth to those less fortunate. Above all, WASS understands that when happiness is given away, happiness will be multiplied.
