From August 1 to August 12, 2024, all teachers at WASS participated in the Professional Development (PD) Training Week to prepare for the new academic year 2024 – 2025.
The Professional Development (PD) Training Week is an important annual activity at the Western Australian International School System (WASS) aimed at sharing experiences and enhancing the professional skills of the school’s academic staff. The goal is to refine and unify teaching methods and provide the most optimal training program for students.
During the training sessions, teachers explored a wide range of relevant topics aligned with the School’s strategic direction for the academic year 2024 – 2025. This also ensured that all academic programs were implemented according to the Western Australian curriculum requirements.
Teachers had the opportunity to acquire new knowledge, enhance soft skills, and elevate their professional competencies. As a result, both the School and teachers are now better equipped to support WASSers in achieving academic success and holistic development. Furthermore, the training fostered a strong sense of community among teachers, setting the stage for a productive and rewarding academic year.
In addition, Expat academic staff and teachers at WASS recently participated in various specializations to best prepare for the upcoming academic year 2024 – 2025. These training sessions provided teachers with the latest updates on the curriculum, effective instructional methods, and opportunities to enhance their professional skills. At the same time, the session also emphasized the integration of advanced technological applications flexibly and effectively, ensuring that each lesson meets international standards and suits the learning environment in Vietnam.
With thorough preparation and a team of qualified, passionate, and experienced teachers, WASS believes that the academic year 2024 – 2025 will continue to be an enriching and meaningful educational journey filled with exceptional opportunities for our WASSers.
