WASS is officially an authorized WACE and ADP School

In the 2019-2020 school year, WASS will be officially offering the The Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) and the American Baccalaureate Program (ADP). Wishing to provide our students with a solid foundation and an international standard of education.  WASS believes that the prospect of different learning programs will open many opportunities for students to choose the right program that best suits them, or to transfer to higher education levels in the future.


WASS is officially an authorized WACE and ADP School

After the March verification visit and evaluation of WASS current teaching practices of The school Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA), WASS has become one of the first International Schools in Vietnam that has been authorised to teach the WACE Program from kindergarten to Year 12.  WASS is the second school to be licensed to teach in the WACE program. During the period from September to December of 2019, students will study the English as an Additional Language (EAL / D) program. The (EAL/ D) program is designed for students to develop knowledge and skills in English Australian standards.  Students will also be prepared in language foundations and will be able to complete the Online Language and Mathematics Knowledge Assessment exam in accordance with Australian regulations.

The Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE)

WASS is officially an authorized WACE and ADP School

Officially starts in January, 2020, on the Australian calendar with 5 subjects (20 credits) including: English, Applied Mathematics, Biology, Computer Science, Accounting and Finance. Qualified Year 12 students will receive a Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE). The ATAR score is also an important role for admission to universities inside and outside of Australia.

The American Diploma Program (ADP)

WASS is officially an authorized WACE and ADP School

The American Diploma Program (ADP) began its implementation in August, 2019.  It is licensed by the Greenville Department of Education (Pennsylvania – US). The program is accredited by the Pennsylvania Department of Education and the Middle States Association Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools (M.S.A.-C.E.S.S). Participating in the program, students must complete a minimum of 25 credits in a group subject: English, Social Science, Natural Science, Math, Physical Education, Arts and Applied Fine Arts. Graduates will receive an American Diploma degree from Greenville Public High School, which is worth the equivalent of high school students in the US.

With a variety of curriculum for the learning pathway, along with advice and methods, our students are equipped with communication skills, discipline, creativity and further become active and informed citizens of society. Moreover, graduates will receive international certificates and improve their fluency in English. This forms the foundation as well as  embodies the ideal practices in becoming a global citizen, which will open up countless choices and career opportunities for the future.
