From November 23 to 28, 2020, students in all grades had a very interesting field trip and practical study, just giving them relaxing moments to prepare for the exam semester 1, enriching living capital and knowledge for the WASSers.
Project-based learning and Experiential – based learning are two of the five outstanding teaching methods at WASS. With a student-centered program bringing not only extensive knowledge but also a valuable practical learning experience, serving their lessons and projects in the future.
The students from grade 2 to grade 11, will travel to Phu Quoc island, which is known as “The Pearl Island of Vietnam” and Long Hai – Vung Tau. In addition to their journey to discover these beautiful seas, WASSers will write reports on the following topics:
- Solutions to protect wild animals
- Challenges and solutions to marine environmental protection
- Development of traditional craft villages
Hopefully, with the experiences they gained from this trip, the WASSers will have tremendous practical projects to connect, cooperate in the learning community, contributing to protecting the environmental resources and wildlife of Vietnam.
Contrary to the other students and their trip to the beach, the little angels of WASS Kindergarten got a chance to explore the Ve Que eco-tourism area in Cu Chi. The Ve Que journey will help students have more experiences, practice life skills, understand nature and live a more positive life. The participating students will be dressed in brown clothes, transforming into true farmers with many research and learning activities about Vietnam’s agriculture and fisheries.
WASS hopes that after these field trips, the students had a great time with friends and teachers, with many useful lessons to contribute to their knowledge to make a solid foundation on the path of their future education.
