On Friday 24th February, WASS kindergarten students had an interesting field trip to Thuan An Town, Binh Duong Province, to visit a traditional pottery village and Minh Long Ceramics.
On the day of the trip by early morning, the students were fully prepared and were eager to begin their journey. At the ceramics factory they were impressed by a large production area which had so many unique products made from clay such as bowls and flowerpots, as well as many other small and lovely souvenirs. The students learnt about the ceramic making procedures, baking process and how to shape products. Following a demonstration they were able to make their own plates with beautifully decorated textures.
After visiting the ceramic village and experiencing making products, the students enjoyed a delicious lunch and played in the Phuong Nam Resort. This field trip helped the students learn more about traditional craft villages in Vietnam and craft skills
