With the purpose of bringing the optimal learning experiences from one of the best education in the world, WASS offers the K-8 Vietnam-American Bilingual Program from Kindergarten to Grade 8. It prepares and builds the foundation for Diploma programs such as the American Diploma Program (ADP). The VAP and the American Diploma Program create an optimal study pathway and enhance opportunities for studying abroad in the USA.

The Vietnam-American Bilingual program at WASS includes academic and specialist subjects that are deployed through a conceptual-based curriculum model. The program provides students the opportunity to explore new concepts by asking interesting questions and making connections between subjects.
In addition to the subjects under the program of the Ministry of Education of Vietnam, elementary and junior high school students will learn core subjects in English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Sciences according to various standards. These are Common Core State Standards (CCSS), Generation Science Standards (NGSS), American Education Reaches Out (AERO), Social Studies Standards, Pennsylvania State Standards. Specialist subjects including Physical Education, Music, Arts and Technology, help students nurture aesthetic minds, develop intellectual and physical strengths; as well as understanding the role of these areas in life.
The curriculum includes performance assessments and provides students opportunities to promote their creativity by applying and solving problems together, as well as developing a passion and personal interests.
