The meeting of the 12th-grade students from the 2019-2020 school year, with parents and teachers, was warm and emotional. Tears were shed when children, teachers, and parents came together to review shared clips, messages from teachers and gratitude clips of students to their parents.
“You made each of us grow and become better every day, every day, every hour. Thank you teachers for your support and encouraging us to overcome the challenges in life. Thank you for being our teacher”.
“It was the encouragement of our parents that motivated us to come closer to the path of success. Even though we were sometimes flustered and annoyed people, you were always open and forgave us. Parents and grandparents are the most important people as they are the only ones who give so much and never ask for anything back. We would like to send you a sincere thank you and our deepest apologies for our school problems.”
These are the sharings of Nguyen Thi Hong Ha on the evening of September 18. She is now a student majoring in PR at Van Lang University.
The students’ success today marks a milestone for all the effort and hard work during the challenging school year. This is also a time to look back on the journey they have gone through filled with achievements, efforts and memories they have made together. The school hopes that with all the knowledge and skills the students have gained here, they will continue their higher education journey with lots of confidence and success waiting ahead.
As Mr. Stephen Zahra said, “No matter where you go and what you do, always remember that you are always a part of the WASS community. The teachers and school are always here and we look forward to hearing about your growth. Wishing you all the best, healthy and peaceful, for the future.”
