The students of WASS shared their sincere feelings of respect and gratitude for the women in their lives through a wide range of activities on Women’s Day on October 20, 2018.
The young children in preschool created beautiful paintings to celebrate Women’s Day. Each work of art was a symbol of love and respect and sent to women that touched their lives.
The pupils of primary and middle school also enjoyed painting and making greeting cards, as well as assembling information tables. The children have written wishes of respect and love to their grandmothers, mothers, aunts, and friends.
WASSers also shared their thoughts and insights on the significance of the day and the important role of women in Vietnam.
The high school sang a beautiful Vietnamese song to honor women, who are half the world’s population and have contributed to creating the wonderful life enjoyed today. The whole of WASS students sent their heartfelt gratitude to the women that care for them on October 20th.
They wished for fun and happiness, not only on this day, but throughout the year, and expressed their love to the women around them.
