SISS’s first Open Day was inspired by a large number of parents and students who attended.
In the 2023 – 2024 school year, WASS officially welcomes its new member – Sydney International School System, the first school to implement the New South Wales program in Vietnam.
Marking the very first steps in the enrollment plan for the 2023 – 2024 school year, Sydney International School System (SISS) has successfully organized the first Open Day with the theme “Access the New South Wales Program – Open a Different Future” on March 25th, 2023.
The event attracted the participation of parents and students wanting to learn about the program of New South Wales and SISS. The School also welcomed the participation of Harry Bui Khanh Nguyen, an Independent Speaker on Education, who shared useful information about the flexibility of Australian education.
Upon coming to Open Day, parents had a chance to explore the subjects, syllabus, and curriculum content of New South Wales. In addition, the School Board also gave information about tuition fees, learning pathways, and SISS differences. Furthermore, students also experienced exciting activities modeled on the New South Wales program, such as exploring science, technology, arts, English, sports, pottery, and baking, as well as bringing home special gifts.
SISS hopes that with this Open Day, parents have been introduced to a new international program in order to have more learning options for students in the next school year. SISS will enroll students from Prep to Year 8 of the Bilingual Program with a tuition discount policy of up to 20% by April 30th, 2023.
