Another Vietnamese Teacher’s Day is coming very quickly and all the teachers in the Western Australian International School System are very welcoming.
Teaching is a special profession in which teachers are constantly faced with endless challenges. Right from the beginning of the school year, the teachers at WASS had to do a lot of of research to meet all the specific goals in the curriculum, assessing the different learning abilities of each student, improving their pedagogical skills day by day. But teachers at WASS are not tired or discouraged by these challenges, as they devote all their passion and energy to the common goal – the success of the students. Therefore, the school’s teaching staff is always striving to find the best strategies to better prepare its students for a challenging future.
In Finland, teachers are highly respected and that is why Finland has one of the most successful educational systems in the world. At WASS, we also believe that teachers are the backbone of the education system. WASS has been further promoting the relationships between teachers, students and parents. Hopefully, with WASS’s efforts, there will be a perfect learning environment, where faith, love and mutual trust endure forever.
On this occasion, I, on behalf of the school board of administrators, would like to send very special thanks to all of you, our dearest teachers. Thank you for your camaraderie, creativity, and your dedication to the development of WASS. We hope to have you serving continuously in order to steer WASS’s ship to the big ocean and achieve many other successes.
Riaan O’ Brien.
