Where there is hope there is life, where there is life there is love. Cherish those who care about you the most, because it is these treasures that make a difference for living a life full of happiness. We live in a world with so many desolate people and here in Vietnam is no different. Here at WASS we have come together to organize the Village Fair 2019 program – the first humanitarian activity of the charity project “For the Community”.
As an annual activity throughout the school year with the “Hearts Connections” we want to share the positive feelings and words to children who are less fortunate in life and bring them a big smile. Specifically, all donations and proceeds from the products sold at the Fair will be raised for the “Loving Christmas” project with gifts that will contribute to the medical expenses for cancer patients at Ho Chi Minh City Oncology Hospital on December 2019. “Bring electricity to the village” and “Be with you to school” project with the construction of roads, schools and installation of solar energy for Ban Giang La Phan village, Ban Mu commune, Tram Tau district, Yen Bai Province.

Village Fair Fair 2019 took place at all 5 campuses of The Western Australian International School System and received enthusiastic support and attracted positive responses from parents and students, because of the humane purpose behind the activities.
The excitement on the faces of the children when preparing the items at the fair, the bustling offers from the booths of all the classes, the diverse products made from the hands of our WASSers, all have made a very unique colour of the charity fundraising fair at WASS Kindergarten – the colour of sharing, kindness and love spreading.
When the whole heart of the WASS community is beating the same rhythm, when our arms are open and are willing to share, sympathize, … When the love is sent …that is when our hearts unite as one. We would like to acknowledge the support and enthusiasm of the parents as well as the whole of WASSers. The WASS community will unite to build more activities, to bring more warmth to share with the unfortunate fate. Because above all, the school always understands that happiness is contagious and it will multiply.
