In the academic year 2015 – 2016, the Western Australian Primary and High School has given nearly 11 billion Vietnam dong to the “Talent Incubator” project ran by the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund. The students who received these scholarships would live and study at the school from grade 5 to grade 12
The “Talent Incubator” project of the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund is supported by some secondary and high schools in Ho Chi Minh City in order to help poor and ethnic minority students with good academic records. These students will be granted scholarships until they finish high school.
With the aim of contributing to the society, the Western Australian Primary and High School has granted nearly 11 billion Vietnam dong to the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, in which 3 full scholarships have been giving to 3 children of soldiers and fishermen on Survival island of the Truong Sa archipelago. The students will live and study at the school from grade 5 to grade 12.
On August 27th 2015, these 3 students and other ethnic minority students of the “Talent Incubator” project attended a gathering in Saigon Beer Company. In this gathering, they were given gift boxes like notebooks, pen, packback, etc. to motivate them to study better.
The Western Australian Primary and High school hopes that these 3 students will get used to the new studying environment and new friends and keep putting more effort into their studies.
