Clubs
A wide variety of clubs are available for students to further their interests, develop academic areas of growth, and venture into new areas for future success.
Clubs are part of WASS’s After-School Activities program, which runs from 3:50 to 4:30 P.M., Monday to Thursday every week. Each student can choose a maximum of 02 Clubs per academic year. There are 02 classes a week for 80 minutes per session. Each Club has 15-30 students.

Clubs Categories

The World Scholar’s Cup is a prestigious academic competition that brings students from around the world together. The Club is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the World Scholar’s Cup and equip them with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the competition.

The MC Club is a place where members with a passion for hosting programs and organizing events gather. Here, students can enhance their hosting skills and develop their public speaking talents.

The Books Club is a place where students can interact and share their passion for reading with many other students. Through interactive activities, discussions, and teacher guidance, students can enhance their reading and writing skills, while helping to develop their imagination, critical thinking, nurturing emotions, and empathy with authors and characters.

The TED Talks Club is a course designed to enhance students’ presentation, public speaking, and research skills by delivering personal perspectives, sharing knowledge, inspiring, and discussing various topics such as science, technology, the arts, and society.

The Research Skills Club encourages and supports students in developing research abilities, creative thinking, and problem-solving skills. By participating in research activities, students can explore real-world issues and hone important skills.

The Academic Writing Club focuses on skills such as essay structure, organizing ideas, and using appropriate vocabulary and grammar. Through practical exercises and guidance from the teacher, students will learn some fundamental principles for writing a complete academic paper.

The Life Skills Club equips students with fundamental skills. Through practical activities, it helps students enhance resilience, emotional management, problem-solving skills, critical thinking, effective communication, etc.

The Survival Skills Club provides students with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to survive in different environments through a combination of theory and hands-on practice.

The Leadership Skills Club helps students equip themselves with the necessary knowledge and skills to become leaders. Students will have the opportunity to explore concepts and theories related to leadership skills. They will have the chance to develop practical skills through interactive exercises and research real-life cases.

The GIN Club is an organization led by students with the aim of raising awareness and taking action on various global issues. The Club is a place where students can interact, learn about urgent global challenges, and collaborate on projects and initiatives to make a positive impact in the community.

The Graphic Design Club will also provide students with basic knowledge and skills in graphic design through fun and creative activities. Students will have the opportunity to apply various design tools and techniques to create projects such as designing logos, posters, etc.

The Photography Club is a place for networking, learning, and sharing knowledge about the art of photography. Students will learn the basics of photography, experience photo shoots, and engage in discussions about the art of photography.

The Fashion Design Club provides students with the fundamental principles of fashion design. Students will explore the history of the fashion industry, global fashion trends, and how to shape their own personal style. At the end of the course, students will create several design samples and showcase their products to others.

Zumba Kids Club is a fitness program that combines dance and lively cardio exercises, specifically designed for students. By combining upbeat background music and easy-to-perform movements, it creates a fun and effective workout.

The Drama Club introduces students to the stage and performance through engaging and captivating activities.

The Ballet Club provides students with a solid foundation in technique, music, and facial expression in performance.

The Choir Club attracts students who have a passion for singing and want to learn more about choral music. They will have the opportunity to learn basic techniques to create beautiful harmonies.

The Harmonica Club provides students with basic knowledge of how to hold and play the instrument, as well as advanced techniques.

Chinese Chess, also known as Xiangqi, is a traditional strategic board game played on a rectangular board formed by the intersection of 9 vertical lines and 10 horizontal lines. Each player commands 16 pieces, including a general, advisors, elephants, chariots, horses, cannons, and soldiers, each with specific movement patterns. Chinese Chess has deep historical roots and cultural significance, and is cherished as a game that stimulates critical thinking and strategic planning.

Chess is a discipline that simulates the battle between two nations. The Chessboard is square-shaped and divided into 64 smaller squares, with 08 rows and 08 columns, and it consists of 16 black pieces and 16 white pieces. The Club will also cover the historical and cultural significance of Chess. Through interactive lessons and practical exercises, students will develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and decision-making abilities.

The Ceramics Club offers detailed courses that introduce students to the world of clay and ceramics. Students will learn techniques for handcrafting, using a pottery wheel, glazing, and firing ceramics.

The Experimental Arts Club offers a chance for students to learn new techniques, experiment with various mediums, and collaborate with other artists.

The Origami Club helps students explore the art of paper crafting and create beautiful art projects. Students will be introduced to various techniques such as origami, quilling, and paper cutting, as well as explore different types of paper materials.

The Gym Club provides students with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively use the gym facility in order to improve physical fitness and health. Students will learn about and use various equipment and training techniques.

The Track Running Club is an attractive and ideal place for students to experience the sport of athletics, improve physical fitness, and develop life skills through running activities. This course includes basic concepts, training methods, and more. By applying theory to practice, students will learn essential skills such as proper running form, pace, and more.

The Karate Club introduces students to the basic knowledge of Karate. They will learn the techniques, principles, and core values of Karate. The course focuses on building physical strength, coordination, discipline, and self-confidence. By the end of the course, students will have a solid foundation in Karate and its core principles.

The Vovinam Martial Arts Club is a place where students can explore and immerse themselves in the beauty of Vietnamese martial arts, combining self-defense techniques with traditional values. Through interesting and interactive lessons, students will develop physical fitness, coordination, discipline, and respect.

The Basketball Club provides students with fundamental knowledge of basketball. Through the combination of theory and practice, students will enhance their basketball skills, improve physical fitness, and develop strategic thinking.

The Badminton Club is open to all students, whether they are beginners or have prior experience in badminton. The course will help students develop their skills, techniques, and strategies for playing badminton through a combination of theory and practical exercises.

The Computer Science Club offers an exciting course that focuses on web development and Java programming, suitable for students in 6th grade and above. This Club is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Java, enabling them to create dynamic websites and develop interactive applications.

The Robotics Club provides opportunities for students to learn and apply STEM concepts through practical activities using the Vex and Lego platforms. Students will develop programming skills, engineering skills, and problem-solving abilities while working on projects and challenges.

The Taekwondo Club introduces students to the basic knowledge of Taekwondo through engaging lessons and practical exercises. Students will learn the techniques, forms, and fundamental principles of Taekwondo. They will also learn self-defense skills.

The Golf Club provides an environment for students to explore and learn the sport of golf. By the end of the course, students will have acquired the necessary skills and knowledge to confidently participate in golf activities.
