Dear All Parents and Students,
The Western Australian International School System is officially recognized as an IB International School by the International Baccalaureate Organization. This is a testament to the continuous efforts to make the improvement of teaching and study standards by WASS community through the years.
Simultaneously, being recognized as an IB international school, starting from January of 2020, WASS will implement the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP) to teach students grades 10 and 11 during the school year of 2019-2020.
Currently, there more than 4500 schools providing IBDP (IB) in 147 countries in the world. WASS will be honored to become a member of the IB community which is developing globally and fantastically! The IB Diploma Program is widely recognized for the innovative and reformed teaching methodology in education. WASS would like to keep up with and apply the updated approaches in order to boost the development of individual knowledge of students through the bilingual curriculum and international one; to build WASS students’ characteristics and necessary skills which are good preparation for university program of students as well as the upcoming study plan.
The International Diploma is accredited by universities and colleges in 147 countries in the world. After finishing the course, with the IB degree, students can confidently submit their documents to top universities in the continents as well as have the chances of gaining the full and partial scholarship.
