The main project, “Yen Bai, For a Brighter Tomorrow,” has fulfilled its first mission in the “Touching the Future – Connecting Knowledge” project and was officially completed at the end of January 2024.
In the academic year 2023 – 2024, Western Australian International School System (WASS) continues our mission to spread love and goodwill with the community through the general project “Yen Bai, For a Brighter Tomorrow.” Along with that, the “Fundraising for Community – Empower the Next Generation” strives to improve lives and create a brighter future for the H’Mong ethnic community in Son Thinh, Van Chan, Yen Bai Province and Tuc Dan, Tram Tau, Yen Bai Province. This includes the 4 projects, which are: “Strengthen the Present – Create the Future” Project, “Community House” Project, “Conquer the Future – Connect the Knowledge” Project, and “Way to School – Way to Dreams” Project.
After a period of implementation, the initial steps of those meaningful and humane projects have been completed. The “Conquer the Future – Connect the Knowledge” Project, with the goal of building an information technology room as well as supporting computers for students at Son Thinh Secondary School (Pa Te Village, Tuc Dan Commune, Tram Tau District, Yen Bai Province), was officially completed at the end of January 2024.
The project has provided 20 computers with a spacious and modern information technology room for 989 students in 30 classes, meeting the students’ needs for practice and access to technology. The essential knowledge from the subject of Informatics will be a solid preparation for students to be more confident on their journey to conquer knowledge as well as in their future lives.
The new IT room is expected to be inaugurated in February 2024. In addition, the next projects are also in the process of being implemented and completed. WASS will continue to provide the latest updates and images of these projects in the upcoming period.
