Primary & Secondary School Programs

WASS offers Primary and Secondary School Programs based on a combination of the Vietnamese National Curriculum, issued by the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam and the Australian National Curriculum framework, overseen by the Australian Curriculum Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA). The programs are further integrated with the Western Australian Curriculum, licensed by the School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA), with the goal of developing confident, creative individuals who are well-prepared to become dynamic global citizens.

Students can choose between 2 learning pathways:

IWAP Pathway: Fully integrated with subjects from the Western Australian Curriculum.
BWAP Pathway: Combines the Vietnamese National Curriculum with an English program built around 4 core subjects – Mathematics, Science, English, and Social Sciences – based on the Western Australian Curriculum. Other subjects are also integrated with the Western Australian Curriculum at different stages of learning.

7 General Capabilities in the Western Australian Curriculum

Both pathways are designed around 7 essential general capabilities, ensuring students receive a balanced, focused, and progressive education. These capabilities help students build a solid and comprehensive knowledge foundation, preparing them for advanced academic programs such as international baccalaureate pathways in Years 11 and 12.
