The Opening Ceremony of the new school year 2021 – 2022 at WASS was recently held online. It received a lot of participation and interaction from students and parents.
The school year 2021 – 2022 started with a very special first day of school, during a time when all students, parents, teachers and the whole country are fighting against the COVID-19.
At home, many WASSers are wearing uniforms and standing up to salute the flag when the national anthem is being played!
With the theme “Embrace Flexibility and Innovation”, this school year, students will work together with friends and teachers to adapt to new applications, technologies and teaching methods to embrace the changes in the digital era.
Every school year brings about positive changes. In 2021 – 2022, the WASS Community happily welcomed new qualified and experienced educators. All of the teachers and staff at the Western Australian International School System are looking forward to accompanying more than 2500 students in an energetic school year, with the goal of helping them fulfill their potential and assisting them on their educational path of development.
This school year is an important milestone as the first class of WACE and IB students will have their graduates. Our school hopes that our students will continue to put effort into achieving personal goals and targets.
With a goal of flexible, innovative learning and a curriculum that is appropriate to the social context, WASS hopes that you will remain high spirited and improve your self-discovery skills through new learning methods, as well as further advancing your problem-solving skills, independence and creative thinking.
WASS wishes all students a prosperous year in both academic learning and extracurricular activities , as well as having more interactive, engaging and rewarding lessons.
