International Citizen Kindergarten students visit Western Australian Primary and High School
14.05.2015
On May 12, students from International Citzen Kindergarten (Trường Mầm non Công dân Quốc tế) came to visit Western Australian Primary and High School. During the visit, the kindergarten students got to see different classrooms and the playground, and they attended a music lesson and an English lesson in Grade 1.
Western Australian Primary and High School invited different preschools and kindergartens in the neighborhood to come and visit, so the kindergarten and preschool students can get to know primary school. Ms. Nguyễn Thị Thu Thảo, and two nannies introduced the children to the learning environment in primary school.
The visitors did not only get to play on the playground, but they also attended classes in Grade 1. They played with the primary school students and Mr. Peter Malouin, an English teacher at WAPS. The kindergarten students said that they liked the music lesson and the English lesson best because they were fun and the teacher answered all of their questions.
By organizing these visits, Western Australian Primary and High School hopes to provide kindergarten students with a better understanding of primary school, which will help them adapt to the new situation faster once they enter Grade 1.
