Members of the WASS family had the chance to immerse themselves in the cheerful atmosphere of the Lunar New Year, enjoying meaningful moments and boundless excitement to welcome the arrival of spring.

In a vibrant atmosphere filled with the colors of Spring and the essence of traditional Tet, WASSers from Kindergarten to Secondary & High School participated in meaningful activities at the Spring Festival 2025.

Held from January 22 to 24, 2025, the Spring Festival provided WASSers from various year levels the chance to explore and experience traditional folk games such as O An Quan, Cheraw dancing, shuttlecock throwing, calligraphy writing, and seeking blessings from the scholar. Additionally, interactive booths like clay figurine sculpting, palm leaf art, and Tet delicacies brought excitement and helped students appreciate the unique beauty of traditional Tet customs. Vibrant moments, including a lively lion dance performance and red lucky envelopes filled with well-wishes for the new year, became unforgettable festival highlights.

WASSers from Primary, Secondary & High School had the opportunity to showcase their knowledge about the Spring season through the exciting Golden Bell Challenge. The engaging questions not only sparked their curiosity but also nurtured their passion for learning and exploring the beauty of Vietnamese culture.

For the little WASSers in Kindergarten, the atmosphere of the “Spring Festival: Tet of Unity” became even more adorable and vibrant as the children proudly wore their traditional outfits and confidently walked down the fashion “runway.” Activities such as the Tet market adventure, the “What Do You Know About Tet?” challenges, puzzle games, Tet face painting, and lucky red envelopes provided the students with unforgettable first experiences of the traditional Lunar New Year celebration.

The Spring Festival, held annually at WASS, is not only an occasion for fun but also a journey to explore our roots, helping the WASSers develop a deeper love for national culture, appreciate traditional values, and strengthen their bond with family, teachers, and friends.

As we say goodbye to the Year of the Dragon 2024, the WASS family eagerly looks forward to the Year of the Snake 2025 with renewed hopes. The School wishes all parents, teachers, and WASSers a New Year filled with happiness, peace, and outstanding achievements!
