To give children in preschool, first grade, and second grade the opportunity to be among nature and to learn more about plants and animals, they embarked on a field trip to the Saigon Zoo and Botanical Gardens in November.
The children had the chance to step out of their classroom in order to explore the natural world and enjoy the vast greenery area right in the heart of the city. The students started their field trip studies by observing many species of animals at the zoo. They also learned about different kinds of animals, including carnivores like lions, tigers, and hyenas and herbivores such as Asian black bears, deer, and moose. They could also see birds such as the great hornbills and peacocks, and reptile including crocodiles, lizards, and snakes. In addition to the plants and animals, the students also enjoyed an intriguing water puppet show during their trip.
This field trip not only enhances our student’s knowledge about the diversity of animals and plants but also assists them in completing projects at school and applying their knowledge to reality.
Let’s have a look back at the unforgettable moments from this trip!
