Joining the meaningful celebration of Vietnam Teachers’ Day on November 20, WASS students participated in a variety of activities to express their gratitude to those who care for and support them every day. From the “Thank You Day” event to themed classroom lessons, WASSers wholeheartedly shared their appreciation with their teachers.
1. WASSers express their gratitude through the “Thank You Day” event
On November 20, 2025, the little WASSers from WASS Kindergarten excitedly participated in the “Thank You Day” event with the theme “Little Hearts, Big Gratitude”. In the warm and joyful atmosphere of the celebration, the children shared their feelings and gratitude on handmade cards hung on the “Thank You Tree”.
Every branch of the tree was filled with colorful cards that carried heartfelt messages, cute drawings, and meaningful stories about their teachers that the children wanted to share. Each card and note reflected the students’ sincere appreciation, contributing to a warm and memorable celebration.

2. WASSers “capture” loving moments with unique paper cameras
Alongside the meaningful gratitude activities, classrooms at WASS throughout November were also buzzing with creative art projects.
In particular, the Year 2 WASSers crafted their own paper cameras by hand. Each camera was carefully decorated with charming flowers, colorful hearts, and adorable illustrations drawn by the children themselves.
Each of these “one-of-a-kind” paper cameras was not only a heartfelt gift for their teachers but also a way for the WASSers to preserve beautiful memories and express their deep gratitude.

Vietnam Teachers’ Day (November 20) is not only an occasion to honor teachers but also an opportunity for students to appreciate, cherish, and express their feelings. The recent activities at WASS have helped nurture the sense of gratitude in the children – a valuable quality they will carry with them on their journey of growth.
