The “First Day of School” event on August 19 and 20, 2024, marked a vibrant start to the academic year 2024 – 2025 at WASS.
After a vibrant summer, WASSers have officially returned to school to begin an exciting new journey of learning. Every corner at WASS was filled with enthusiasm and joy, marking the start of the academic year 2024 – 2025 with many exciting experiences awaiting ahead.
The theme “Connect Globally – Make a Difference” encourages teachers and students at WASS to build upon our core values and legacy while embracing and promoting global awareness. WASS also continues to strengthen the bond between the School, families, and students to create a united and strong academic community.
The Orientation and Back-to-School Carnival, featuring exciting sports games and enticing food and entertainment stalls, created a joyful atmosphere on the first day of school. This event also provided an opportunity for new members joining the “WASS family” to get familiar with their peers, teachers, and new environment, helping them to quickly settle in and aim for a successful academic year.
The Welcome Session for Years 1 and 6 WASSers was a meaningful highlight of the “First Day of School” event of the new academic year 2024 – 2025. The presence and support of parents, loved ones, friends, and teachers during this special program has surely inspired WASSers to feel more confident and ready to embark on a new chapter in their learning journey.
