Honoring outstanding students at WASS who accomplished proud achievements at national and international competition in recent academic years.

2024 - 2025

At the North Central Vietnam Regional VIQRC (VEX IQ) competition of the Vietnam VEX Robotics National Championship 2025, WASS’s “Team United Bot” delivered exceptional performances, claiming the Championship Title in the Alliance Battle, winning the Build Award, and ranking in the Top 10 best teams in the tournament.

WASSers shine in the first participation at Vietnam AI Contest 2024 with the Third Prize.

WASSers made a strong impression at the District 3 Student Sports Competition for the academic year 2024 – 2025 with over 70 medals in the area across various sports, including Football, Badminton, Athletics, Swimming, and more.

In the Final Round of the AI Hackathon 2024, High School WASSers proudly brought home the Creative Award. In the Primary School Division, WASSers also earned the Consolation Award.

2023 - 2024

Graduation Ceremony of the second generation of WACE International students.

WASSers shined at the World Scholar’s Cup 2024 with 17 Trophies, 37 Gold Medals, and 44 Silver Medals.

The impressive journey of WASS’s Talented Engineer Team at the Vietnam VEX Robotics National Championship 2024 resulted in three prestigious awards: The Innovation Award for Robot Assembly, the Robot Skills Champion, and the Build Award.

Students at WASS demonstrated outstanding abilities at the Global English Language Olympiad of SouthEast Asia – GELOSEA 2023 with 1 Diamond Award, 1 Gold Award, 17 Silver Awards, 27 Bronze Awards, and 5 Honorable Awards.

WASSers expressed their excellence in IT, Technology, and Programming at the Bebras Computational Thinking Challenge 2024, achieving 2 National Champion Awards, 1 High Distinction Award, and 2 Distinction Award.

Impressive achievements at the Junior English Olympics (JEO) International English Olympiad with 9 Gold Awards, 8 Silver Awards, and 9 Bronze Awards.

Talented WASSers excelled in bringing home 24 prestigious individual awards at the International Mathematics Exam Center Competition – IMEC 2024.

2022 - 2023

4 WASSers achieved memorable awards at the Tournament of Champions (Final Round of the World Scholar’s Cup 2022) at Yale University, the US.

Representatives of the School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA) visited and inspected the quality of teaching at WASS.

Impressive achievements of the STEAM WASS 3 team at the Final Round of the National Robotics Tournament 2022.

Many awards in the National Round of WRO Robotacon Competition 2022.

2021 - 2022

The first class of IBDP students having their graduates.

Excellent results at AP – Advanced Placement 2022.

WASSers achieved over 120 awards in the SEA Olympiad.

Prestigious awards at the World Scholar’s Cup 2022.

Excellent achievements in the Global Mathematics Coding Competition – GMCC.

WASS is a CIS Member School.

The House System is officially launched.

2020 - 2021

World Scholar’s Cup competition with two final prizes: Champion and Runner-up at the Regional Round.

2019 - 2020

Closing and Graduation Ceremony for the 2019-2020 school year with more than 1800 students.

2018 - 2019

Won the 1st prize in “First Lego League 2019” competition.

Won silver and bronze prizes in Robotacon 2019.

Won many medals at the final of the global speech contest at WSC Tournament of Champions at Yale University, US.

2017 - 2018

Representing Vietnam at the World WRO contest held in Costa Rica, after reaching the top 8 of the 2016 Robotacon contest in India (2017) and winning many awards.

2016 - 2017

Western Australian School System participated in the World Trade Challenge for the first time in Singapore.

2015 - 2016

Consolation prize in the creative competition granted by the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City.

Western Australian students won gold medal in US international math competition.

Impressive prize at Robotacon contest.

2014 - 2015

The first Western Australian student graduated.

2013 - 2014

School Curriculum and Standards Authority visited Western Australian School Systems.

2012 - 2013

Representative of the Australian Consulate in Vietnam awards scholarships to outstanding students.

2011 - 2012

Closing ceremony for the first school year with 50 students.
