The WASS community has experienced a week filled with love through meaningful activities in celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8, 2025.
1. Little WASSers Expressed Love and Dreams Through the “Little Girls, Big Dreams” Event
With the theme “Little Girls, Big Dreams,” on March 7, 2025, the little WASSers of WASS Kindergarten had a truly special day as they personally prepared heartfelt gifts. Adorable greeting cards, lovely flower vases, and warm wishes were lovingly crafted and dedicated to the extraordinary women in their lives.
Additionally, the little WASSers had the opportunity to confidently express themselves and share their dreams. Some wished to become teachers, others aspired to be firefighters, and some dreamed of becoming vets to care for animals. Each dream reflected their innocence and boundless imagination. Through these meaningful activities for International Women’s Day, the School hopes to encourage young children to develop an awareness of gender equality and confidently pursue their aspirations.
2. WASSers from Primary, Secondary, & High School Enjoyed a Series of Activities at the “Empower Today, Elevate Tomorrow” Event
Students from the Primary, Secondary & High School participated in various meaningful activities as part of the “Empower Today, Elevate Tomorrow” event. From March 3 – 8, 2025, the WASSers came together to:
- Create a vibrant floral painting filled with meaningful messages: This activity allowed students to share their aspirations and creative ideas to promote the role of women and challenge gender stereotypes. Through this artwork, the WASS community spreads positive messages, fostering a fair and happy society.
- Bond with loved ones at the Canvas Painting Workshop: Family members came together to create unique artworks filled with heartfelt emotions as a special gift for the wonderful women in their lives.
- Explore gender equality: WASSers engaged in lively discussions about common gender stereotypes to deepen their understanding of gender equality. Through a hands-on activity of categorizing household tasks, they discovered that all chores can be shared equally, regardless of gender.
- Spread love and give surprise gifts: Students across all campuses expressed their appreciation through heartfelt messages to their teachers, friends, and the wonderful women around them. To celebrate this special day, the School also gifted all students with adorable cookies.
Wrapping up an emotional and inspiring week, WASSers joined hands to spread love and appreciation for the invaluable contributions of women to our daily lives. Small yet heartfelt gestures made this International Women’s Day truly meaningful.
WASS sincerely thanks our Parents and students for coming together to create such a vibrant and meaningful week. Wishing all women endless happiness and love!
