This September, WASSers from Years 10 – 12 had the opportunity to join Career Orientation sessions, where they met and learned from representatives of Murdoch University – one of Australia’s leading research institutions – and Queens College, a prestigious member of the City University of New York System in the U.S.
To support students in discovering their potential and building study plans aligned with their strengths, WASS collaborated with renowned national and international universities to deliver practical and insightful Career Orientation sessions.
During these sessions, students gained valuable information about academic disciplines, career trends, overseas student life, and scholarship opportunities. The insights from representatives of Murdoch University and Queens College provided WASSers with realistic perspectives to consider and define their long-term pathways.
A highlight of the program was the specialized workshops and one-on-one consultations, where each student could interact directly with experts to design a personalized learning journey. These experiences not only broadened their global outlook but also equipped them with essential skills and preparation for the steps ahead.
At WASS, Career Orientation sessions go beyond simply sharing information; they open opportunities for them to reflect and find answers to essential questions: What are my strengths? Which skills should I improve? What do I truly aspire to? This self-understanding becomes the foundation for students to make confident choices, strengthen their resilience, and shape a solid pathway for the future.
The School remains committed to creating an inspiring learning environment, where students are empowered and guided in the right direction to confidently write their own success stories.
