September has been filled with meaningful moments as WASSers actively engaged in learning, participated in community initiatives, and confidently showcased their talents in vibrant competitions.
1. No Backpack Day: Creativity and Sharing from Simple Things
On the No Backpack Day, our little WASSers set aside their familiar backpacks and arrived at school with “new companions” creatively made from cardboard boxes, paper bags, scarves, trays, or even small pots.
Through this creativity, the little WASSers learned about the stories of less fortunate children who, despite many hardships, continue their journey to school by reusing items to bring their books. From that awareness, the students created lovely little backpacks filled with love and care to be shared with those children. Each act of kindness and every heartfelt gesture became valuable lessons, helping them nurture empathy, compassion, and a spirit of sharing.
2. Assembly: Building Connections and Kicking Off a Journey of Growth
The first Assembly of the academic year 2025 – 2026 brought a wave of energy to the entire WASS. Beyond being a space for sharing important updates, it was also a meaningful opportunity for WASSers to connect, to give, and to embark on an exciting new academic journey together. During the Assembly, our WASSers:
- Kicked off the House competition, with all Houses aiming for the prestigious championship cup at the end of the academic year 2025 – 202.
- Be introduced to the community project “Tay Bac: One Brick – A Million Dreams”, continuing WASS’s journey of sharing and contributing to society.
- Honored outstanding WASSers through the WASS Excelsior Scholarship 2025 – 2026, inspiring the entire community with their achievements.
The Assembly wrapped up with excitement and unity, setting the tone for positive values to spread in the months ahead.
3. Cuisine Carnival 2025: Joy, Connection, and Celebrating WASS’s 15th Anniversary
On September 12, 2025, the “Cuisine Carnival 2025” brought WASSers a vibrant, delightful, and inspiring learning atmosphere. The event not only strengthened the spirit of connection within the WASS community but also marked a special milestone in celebrating 15 years of WASS’s growth.
The highlight of the event was a giant cupcake carrying the message “15 Years of WASS”, crafted with the creativity and heartfelt spirit of the entire community. Alongside it, colorful cakes filled with love and warm wishes spread joy throughout the event, marking this proud milestone in a truly memorable way. The Cuisine Carnival also offered WASSers a chance to learn, share, showcase their talents, and take home unforgettable experiences.
As September comes to a close, the values and memories shown this month will continue to flourish, becoming a source of inspiration for the WASS community to make this academic year truly remarkable.
