STEAM is a modern, educational method consisting of an integrated approach to learning topics: Science, Technology, Language, Art, Maths (STEAM). The STEAM teaching method appreciates the importance of art, encourages creativity, and evokes student’s passions for learning.

The STEAM method is implemented by WASS and suits the age and psychology of primary students. Students learn through activities in class, games, and practical exercises which help students easily to absorb knowledge and to develop thinking skills and creativity.

Critical thinking methods use self-questioning and self-thinking to find the answers by themselves. Critical thinking methods are the key to nurture creativity, which is implemented by WASS for primary students in order to develop self-learning and to stimulate a child’s interest in learning, thus helping to build a strong foundation of knowledge for future learning.

Beside these methods, other teaching techniques such as Brainstorming, Think-Pair-Share and Collaborative Learning are also used to thus make their learning journey more interesting, creative and exciting.
