Continuing the journey of sharing love and bringing joy to children in remote areas, in the academic year 2025–2026, the WASS community will continue contributing to the “Empower the Next Generation” Community Fund to implement the main project “Tay Bac: One Brick – A Million Dreams”.
In this new journey to Tay Bac, the compassion of the WASS community will be reflected in practical initiatives that improve learning, living, and traveling conditions for children and residents. The projects under the main project “Tay Bac: One Brick – A Million Dreams” include:
The “Muong Nhe Dormitory” project will support the construction of a complex including dormitory rooms, classrooms, a canteen, and recreational facilities for 50 – 60 H’Mong ethnic high school students in Muong Nhe Village, Muong Nhe Commune, Muong Nhe District, Dien Bien Province.
The “Huoi Thung Kindergarten” project will build a combined classroom to provide learning and play opportunities for 30 – 35 preschool children in Huoi Thung 1 Village, Nacosa Commune, Nam Po District, Dien Bien Province.
The “Nacosa 1 Road” project will construct a connecting road from Nacosa 1 Village to the main route, benefiting over 400 residents and students in Nacosa Commune by ensuring safer and more convenient travel, especially during the rainy and flood season.
Other projects, including the “Chieng An Primary & Secondary School” (Nong Hoi Duoi Village, Chieng An Commune) and the “Hua Trai Primary & Secondary School” (O Village, Hua Trai Commune), will provide 50 bunk beds with integrated study desks to improve the living conditions of boarding students in Muong La District, Son La Province.

Each small project is like a “brick”, laying the foundation for a brighter future. As these projects are completed, they will not only bring meaningful change to local communities but also help WASSers foster the spirit of compassion, strengthen their sense of social responsibility, and develop into global citizens who excel academically while carrying a heart full of empathy.
