To provide students with more interesting learning experiences, enhance their understanding of nutrition, and explore new knowledge outside the classroom, the Scholl will organize Practical Learning Activity for Kindergarten students.
Participants
Koala, Kangaroo & Preschool students.
Contents of programs
Students participate in the practical learning activities at the supermarket:
- Students participate in activities exploring different sections in the supermarket, learning how foods are arranged into different categories.
- Discuss the importance of nutrition and healthy eating.
- Learn how to read food labels.
- Exploring Food Origins.
- Discuss shopping etiquette and safety in public places
Summary
From October 10 to 18, 2024, the little WASSers from the 260 Dien Bien Phu Campus and 35 Nguyen Huu Canh Campus participated in the Practical Learning Activity exploring big supermarkets such as LOTTE Mart and Emart.
Along with their teachers, the little WASSers explored and identified different food categories, learning how to distinguish between healthy and unhealthy foods better to understand the nutritional value and balance in their diets. This experience helped them develop healthy eating habits from an early age. The trip also provided a wonderful opportunity for the young WASSers to enhance their public behavior skills.
