The Graduation Ceremony is not only the closing of an academic journey, but also a meaningful moment for WASSers to reflect on their experiences with pride, gratitude, and unforgettable emotions.

Looking back on their journey, every WASSer can see a reflection of who they once were in those early days, still finding their footing, a little hesitant, yet filled with quiet ambition. Over time, each experience has gently shaped them into a more mature version of themselves: more resilient, more confident, and ready to move forward.

Though each student carries a different story, at this meaningful milestone, they all share something in common – a deep sense of gratitude for persevering and a quiet pride in how far they have come.

Take a moment to hear from our Class of 2026 WASSers and discover the emotional milestones behind their journey to this defining moment.

WASSer Do Phuong Thien Thanh: “My 6 precious years at WASS have truly changed me in so many ways. From a shy and unconfident little girl, I’ve gradually grown under the School’s dedicated guidance. My years at WASS have not only given me valuable knowledge, but also taught me how to work in a team, how to listen, and how to understand the people around me.”

WASSer Nguyen Tang Nhat Bao: “I still remember my very first day in Pre at WASS, when I was just a little kid, confused and unfamiliar with everything. Now, 6 years have passed so quickly. This place has become such a beautiful part of my childhood, filled with friends, teachers, and so many unforgettable memories.”

WASSer Lena Doan: “I still can’t believe that I’m about to graduate from Primary School and that I’m already halfway through my learning journey. All the books we’ve opened, the pages we’ve turned, and even the moments when we said, “this is so boring” are now coming to an end.

But a new journey is waiting ahead – Secondary School is calling us: ring, ring, ring! So let’s keep moving forward, because we’ve grown stronger, braver, and more confident, enough to make our families, WASS, our teachers, and our friends proud.”

For our Year 12 WASSers, Graduation holds an even deeper meaning – a heartfelt farewell to their school years and the moment they spread their wings to pursue the dreams that lie ahead.

WASSer Nguyen Lam Gia Han: “Since starting at WASS in Preschool, I’ve now spent 12 years here.

As I prepare to embark on the next chapter of my journey in Australia, I will carry with me the lessons and experiences that WASS has given me. All the friendships that I have built and the skills I have developed will continue to guide me as I step into a new environment. While the future might be unpredictable, I am willing to face it with curiosity and determination.”

WASSer Nguyen Duy Minh Thinh: “11 years is a long time – long enough for a place to become more than just a school, but a quiet witness to who you once were and who you are becoming. From a Year 2 student who didn’t really understand much about the world to someone now standing at the edge of graduation, WASS has been there through almost every step of my journey. It has become a part of my youth that I will never forget.”

WASSer Tran Nam Anh: “Stepping into adulthood means navigating my own path, and saying goodbye to the teachers and friends who have become my second family is incredibly hard.

As I prepare for university, my dream is not merely to achieve academic success, but to build a meaningful life that honors the unwavering belief my family and teachers have placed in me. WASS has given me the roots to grow and the wings to fly, and for that, I am forever grateful.”

WASSer Le Huyen Thu: “WASS is where I’ve grown in the past 4 years, from being a secondary student in the MoET program to becoming an IBBP graduate, surrounded by friends, teachers, and staff who have supported me in ways I’ll always be grateful for.

The environment here has encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone, take on challenges, and develop confidence in myself. I’ve learned to manage my time better, think more critically, and stay disciplined even when things feel overwhelming. More importantly, I’ve grown into someone more open-minded, resilient, and willing to keep improving.”

WASSer Do Quoc Anh: “As graduation approaches, what touches me most is the moment of saying goodbye to my beloved teachers and WACE12 classmates. Familiar faces in the schoolyard, laughter echoing down the halls, and energetic lessons are all etched deeply in my heart. I feel a flutter as I stand at the threshold of university, excited to explore, yet wistful about the new independent life ahead, where I must care for myself and meet fresh challenges.”

WASS Dang Quynh Khanh Vy: “Time really does fly. It feels like just yesterday I was a shy 6th grader, and now I’ve grown into a confident 12th grader, ready to take on new challenges ahead.

As graduation approaches, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to WASS – my second home – for always providing such a dynamic and supportive environment that has helped me grow stronger every single day.”

Each story is a journey of its own, yet they all converge at a defining moment of growth, where WASSers not only look back on how far they’ve come with pride but also step forward with confidence and anticipation.

Graduation Ceremony marks the close of one chapter, but more importantly, the beginning of new dreams. With the knowledge, skills, and values they have built over the years, every WASSer is ready to continue writing their own story on the paths that lie ahead.
