| In the beginning of the new school year, Nguyen Hoang Nam, 4th grader and Hoang Kim Gia Bao, 3rd grader earned two honourable silver medals at the Singapore International Mathematical Olympiad Challenge (SIMOC) and Asia Arts Festival 2016. Congratulations! |

- Destination: Family Garden, 28 Thao Dien, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City

- Time: 7:30am Friday, September 09th 2016
- Destination: Tree Farm, Thuan An town, Binh Duong province

Field trip for High school students
- Time: 7:30am Friday, September 09th 2016
- Destination: Giang Dien Waterfall, Trang Bom, Dong Nai province
Parents please check the trip schedule and destinations noted above so that you can bring your child to school on time for their field trip departure times.

| September field trip and Debating Camp |
| |
| As one of a number of activities organised by the WASS Student Council, a Debating camp will be organized in September with a field trip to Giang Dien Waterfall. Sixteen candidates will have opportunities to show their talents, enthusiasm, skills through exciting and thorny debates. |

| Full moon festival 2016 at WASS |
| |
| This full moon festival, kindergarten and primary students will have joyful moments and will enjoy playing freely with lion dances and a moon feast on September 15th at WASS. |

| International Day of Peace |
| |
| Following the introduction of all members of the WASS Student Council to the Western Australian School System community in September 21st, Peace of Day 2016 will be organized by the Council with a series of entertaining performances presented to both students and parents. |
