Welcome to After School Activities.

At Wass, we believe that participation in extracurricular activities on a regular basis is the best way to help students develop their individual personality, cut down on emotional stress, and enhance social or academic skills that could benefit them in the future.

A wide variety of activities are available for students from Grade 1 to Grade 12 to further their interests, develop academic areas of growth, and to venture into new areas. These activities will offer variety, inclusivity, fun and enjoyment for our students each week. Students take part in a carousel of creative, active, and academic activities throughout each term. They will experience a range of activities which will enhance and develop their core values of learning.

Club List

WASS encourages our students to try something new as they often find a hidden talent or area of interest that they will continue to pursue at university and in later life. From that mission, we establish a wide range of club activities for students to find specific areas they have an interest in, promote, and develop. Students get to choose 4 clubs/year.

Clubs are part of WASS’s After School Activity program, which runs every weekday from 15h50-16h30, except on Fridays. Students can enrich their learning through participation in creative, active, service, and academic activities within the after-school program.

Workshop is an activity offered in the series of after-school activities from 3.50 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. for students ranging from Grade 1 to Grade 12; the activity is held once each week (Monday to Thursday determined by grade levels). Workshop are held in small groups of 15 - 25 students or in large forums depending on the nature of each field accordingly. By participating in this activity, students will be able to express their opinions through the mediums of presentations, debates, seminars, and hypothetical forums on topics in a certain field. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to research, and share their knowledge as well as experiences across areas of life, accompanied by a different topic each week.

In the academic year 2022-2023, workshop activities will be held in four quarters. Each quarter, students are eligible to register in 1 (one) field, each field will have 8 topics taking place in 8 weeks.

Parents and students, please be mindful when choosing the various workshop for the 4 quarters because it will not be possible to change after registration.

The number of students for each workshop class is designated at 15 - 25 students. If the number of students registered is lower than 10, the class will not be opened.

Athletic Program

Being one of the most popular activities, WASS campuses will officially begin Sports Teams for the next school year 2022 – 2023. The Sports Teams; practice timetable is from 15h50 – 16h30 and Monday to Thursday. Students will have a chance to learn and practice sports skills, from basic to advanced levels, by going through this rich and engaging exercise program.

Organized as tournaments, the exercise program will be held once or twice a week after school in the form of a Sports Team. Students can join a maximum of 4 different Sports Teams in a school year (1 Sports Team during 1 term). Students will be divided into groups of male and female by age, in order to practice and participate in House System, School and interscholastic competitions.

With the goal of enhancing and developing the core values of the Western Australian Program in particular and the educational program in general, WASS’ goal is that the Sports Team will bring a lot of fun, stress relief, strength building, and a healthy outlet for students. At the same time, the Sports Teams will give students the freedom to explore new activities, ignite their passions, and develop their talents.
