This October at WASS concluded with a series of meaningful activities, not only offering diverse learning experiences but also providing opportunities for students to grow intellectually, socially, and emotionally.

From leadership elections for the Student and House Councils, and the heartfelt World Mental Health Day, to expert sharing sessions and future-oriented events, each activity contributed to shaping a connected and sustainable learning community.

1. Student and House Councils: Nurturing Future Leaders

After an exciting election season, the outstanding members of the Student and House Councils for the academic year 2025 – 2026 have officially taken their roles.

More than just a process to select new leaders, the election served as a meaningful lesson in democracy, responsibility, and community service. These young leaders now act as positive role models, inspiring their peers to build a dynamic, disciplined, and creative learning environment together.

2. World Mental Health Day: Caring for the Mind to Build a Brighter Future

In celebration of World Mental Health Day on October 10, the WASS community came together to spread positive energy through vibrant yellow and share the message: “Taking care of both mental and physical health is equally important” through a series of meaningful activities.

Through heartfelt letters, stress-relief boards, lively dance and drama performances, and various interactive activities, students learned to understand, accept, and manage their emotions more effectively. These experiences form a vital foundation, helping them stay resilient and balanced as they navigate both academic and life challenges.

3. Talkshow “Common Misconceptions in Kindergarten Childcare”: Empowering Parents to Accompany Their Children with Confidence

On October 11, 2025, WASS Kindergarten hosted a talk show titled “Common Misconceptions in Kindergarten Childcare” with guest speaker Dr. Nguyen Tran Nam, Deputy Director of the City Children’s Hospital, who provided parents with scientific, practical, and approachable insights into childcare.

Beyond addressing concerns about child care, the event also served as a meaningful bridge between families and the School, working hand in hand to build the most holistic and nurturing environment for children’s early years.

4. University Fair 2025: Shaping the Future, Reaching the World

The University Fair 2025, co-organized by WASS and ISA  – both under the same Group – offered parents and students valuable insights into emerging career trends, prestigious scholarship opportunities, and well-structured study abroad preparation steps.

In particular, firsthand stories from WASS alumni currently studying overseas and the chance to speak directly with representatives from more than 50 leading universities in the U.S., Australia, and Canada provided students with a clearer vision of their future path, empowering them to dream big and confidently design their own personalized journey toward global success.

5. Vietnamese Women’s Day 20/10: Nurturing Hearts that Love and Share

In the warm and heartfelt atmosphere of Vietnamese Women’s Day on October 20, handmade gifts created by WASS students became beautiful messages of love that they wished to send to the special women in their lives.

Through every careful cut, brushstroke, and decoration, the students not only practiced their creativity and precision but also learned the language of gratitude and the art of expressing genuine affection. This is how human values are nurtured most naturally, cultivating hearts that know how to love, care, and share.

The School believes that the vibrant and meaningful activities throughout October have contributed to shaping generations of global citizens who are not only intellectually excellent and skillfully competent but also emotionally resilient and physically healthy.

In the coming months, WASS will continue to bring even more exciting events and activities. Let’s make this 15th anniversary academic year truly memorable and meaningful!
