Our teachers have tirelessly planted “seeds” of knowledge, nurtured dreams, and ignited passion, confidence, and resilience in WASSers – empowering them to reach out to the world and contribute to the bright 15-year story of the WASS community. Among them, Ms. Nguyen Cao Ngoc Uyen, a Primary teacher, stands as a shining example of this enduring devotion, having been a part of WASS for 14 years, nurturing young generations with her unwavering dedication.
With a Bachelor’s degree in English Language from the University of Social Sciences & Humanities and 16 years of teaching experience, she has not only imparted knowledge to WASSers but also inspired them, instilled a love of learning, and guided countless students to walk confidently toward their dreams. Over more than a decade of commitment, she has become a trusted companion, spreading love that makes each school day full of joy, while also serving as an “ambassador” who promotes the positive values and educational identity of WASS.
Let’s take a moment to look at Ms. Ngoc Uyen’s heartfelt reflections on her 14 unforgettable years at WASS.
“The academic year 2025 – 2026 marks my 14th year with WASS. It has been long enough for this place to become a part of my youth, a part of my memory, inseparable from both my career and my life.
In those early days, there were only a handful of classes in each year level. And yet today, WASS has expanded to 5 campuses, covering all levels from Kindergarten to High School, welcoming thousands of students and teachers from around the world. Looking back at this incredible journey of development, I feel truly proud to have witnessed it and contributed, even in a small way, to the remarkable story of the WASS community.
WASS has given me a warm and professional working environment. Here, I have colleagues who always walk alongside me, ready to share and support one another. I also have the opportunity to work with many international teachers, learning from diverse cultures and innovative teaching methods around the world. Regular training programs, professional development, and the benefits I receive make me feel valued and deepen my bond with WASS every single day.
Over more than a decade of teaching here, I have shared countless memories with my students, both joyful and challenging. But for any teacher, the greatest happiness is seeing these young students grow day by day, gradually gaining confidence and affirming themselves on their own journeys.
The academic year 2025 – 2026 carries a special meaning as WASS celebrates our 15th anniversary. This milestone is not only a chance for us to look back on our journey but also an opportunity for every member to continue striving, upholding, and affirming the core values that WASS has steadfastly pursued.
On this special celebration, I would also like to send a message to all WASSers: Study with passion and kindness. When your heart is nurtured, your mind is challenged, and your spirit is always ready to rise, the future will surely be bright.
I truly believe that WASS will always be a place of inspiration, a guiding light that empowers every generation of students to step confidently into the future. And just as I have for the past 14 years, I will always be here to accompany them on this meaningful journey.
