As we joyfully welcome the new academic year, Mr. Gustavo Páez extends his warmest wishes to the entire WASS community and shares key directions for enhancing the quality of teaching and learning in the academic year 2026 – 2027. With the theme “Look Beyond, Move Forward”, he encourages every member of the community to look beyond, move forward, and work together to foster a positive learning environment at WASS.

Dear WASS Community,

Welcome to another academic year full of changes, improvements, challenges, and enthusiasm for continuing to enhance our teaching practices and the quality of our students’ learning and well-being.

This year marks an important milestone in the update of our international academic programs, in accordance with the guidelines of our accreditation and academic authorization, both in the development of new scope and sequences and in the new assessment model through learning activities.

Our theme this year is “Look Beyond, Move Forward” and with this, we aim to celebrate the achievements of our students and teachers in their teaching and learning outcomes, as well as to lay the foundation for a solid framework in managing and implementing Australian learning expectations and the Western Australia curriculum outline.
