The first day of the academic year 2026 – 2027 unfolded with many memorable emotions and experiences, officially marking the beginning of a new journey for the WASS community.

In August 2026, the atmosphere across WASS’s campuses became livelier, filled with smiles upon reunion, curious eyes taking in many new things, and immense joy as WASSers returned to school together.

Each WASSer experienced their own emotions on the first day of the new academic year: some felt a little unsure as they became familiar with a new environment for the first time, while others were excited to return to their familiar school. For Grade 1 WASSers, this marked the first step in their journey in pursuit of knowledge, while Grade 12 students were embarking on their important final-year journey.

A variety of welcoming, social, and interactive activities helped create a sense of excitement from the very first days of the academic year. Through these activities, WASSers had opportunities to explore their learning spaces, connect with teachers, meet friends, and quickly immerse themselves in the joyful learning atmosphere at school.

With the support of their families, teachers, and friends, WASS believes that students have confidently begun their journey of discovering new lessons, pursuing new goals, and creating many memorable milestones throughout the academic year 2026 – 2027.
