At the beginning of the 2018-2019 school year, the value of life and life skills education was applied on a monthly basis by integrating teaching projects into the curricular and extra-curricular activities. The appropriate lessons and meaningful stories will be taught through lectures, pictures or posters decorated on the bulletin boards of each class. These activities will help the students train good virtues and maintain positive attitudes for lifetime learning.
The August theme: Honesty – an important personality for each of us, a foundation of the character building process for children, will be taught to the students since the first day of the school.
The honesty education about the value of life is taught through indoor projects or in extra-curricular activities. First of all, teachers need to explain students the meaning of “honesty”. “Honesty” means being upright thinking, truthful without lying. In talking to parents, teachers, and friends, students must be honest, brave to do apologize when you make a mistake. Particularly, the action of honesty are meant to be not copying classmate’s work, bringing the unallowed materials to the exam. If the students understand the meaning of honesty, they will not try to lie for the wrongdoings. Instead, they will admit their mistake and commit not to make that mistake again. Teachers need to encourage the students to realize that if they say the truth, they will be respected and valued. In the result, students will develop a good personality and will be loved by everyone.
Educating the honesty to the student is the goal that WASS focus on to build a young, virtuous, respectful, truthful and responsible generation. This is the generation of our future because they are going to contribute to the society the development, justice, and civilization.
