Message from the Board of Principals

Dear Parents and Students of the Western Australian School System,

Welcome to WASS November E-newsletter. The grand opening of the 6th campus – Campus 3/2 has marked an important milestone of a journey of 10-year development with great efforts of teachers and staff to bring the optimal learning experience to our students. In the 10-year journey, The Western Australian School System has seen significant growth in the number of students. Both classrooms and functional rooms at all campuses have been upgraded day by day to become more spacious and advanced.

Also in November, we cannot forget an important event – Vietnam Teachers’ Day on November 20. In addition to students’ performances on the day, the Western Australian School System also launched two competitions for students to express their feelings and appreciation to the beloved teachers. They are “Sharing about the favorite teacher” and voting for “My favorite teacher”.

On the same special day, the “Class of Youth” event also took place. Together, the teachers of WASS have relived the memories of student time. So that they can understand, sympathize and share with the students’ feelings. Since then, they can teach with love and nurture intellectual development, living experiences and beliefs, creating the most beautiful time of a student’s life.

Following the teacher’s day is the series of field trips to Long Hai and Phu Quoc Island, while WASSers at Kindergarten will be a trip to explore Ve Que –  the ecotourism area to learn more about our country’s agriculture and fishery. After each trip, students will write a project summary reports so that they keep memorable with their friends and teachers, and become more mature to recognize and respect the good values of the community, society.

At WASS, together we will make the journey towards modern, humane, and liberal education. And on that journey, our generations of students will realize their dreams to become dynamic, creative, enthusiastic, responsible, and adaptable global citizens in the digital era.

Best regards,

The Board of Principals of WASS
