Letter from the Board of Principals
Dear Parents and Students,
Last May was also the time to close the past school year and usher in an exciting summer.
After 2 weeks of hard study, the students completed the year-end exam in the best way, demonstrating the outstanding abilities and strengths of each individual. Besides, in order to give more motivation to the students, WASS organized a school-wide sports festival to create a sports playground for students. Not only that, the sports festival is also a place to exchange and connect with students of each grade.
It can be said that the school year 2021 – 2022 is really a special year for all of us. It started with the challenges facing the education industry when affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, but with constant efforts, our extended family has turned this school year into an extremely creative experience. Although the face-to-face learning time is not as much as in previous years, the children from Western Australia must have had a lot of good memories together.
The coming summer is also the time when students temporarily leave school, friends and teachers. For students of other grades, this is a time to “recharge” their energy to prepare for the summer course with many interesting activities and a challenging new school year. But for the 12th graders, this is a time that leaves a special mark on their growth journey. This is the first year Western Australia has graduated from the International Baccalaureate (IBDP) and Western Australian Baccalaureate (WACE) systems, and the school is truly proud of leading a generation of self-directed students. confident, brave, full of personality and ambitious like the students of grade 12 this year.
Graduating from grade 12 is the end of a student’s life and opens the door for new students to enter a new, vast and changing world. WASS hopes that you will focus your energy on positive attitudes and behaviors. Even when life throws you challenges, difficulties, and mistakes… practice smiling, breathing deeply, and saying “I have another chance to experience to grow”. Bring with you the lessons that the teachers have taught, confidently, boldly step into your own journey of experience, and live your own life.
The Board of Principals of WASS wishes all students good health, a positive spirit and always happiness in the future.
